Retreat To The Farm with Lila Heller and Shannon Knorr

We are gathering together between the end of summer and the beginning of fall to set intentions, tell our stories, move out the old and bring in the new. Both Shannon and Lila have over 25 years of experience combined, they bring passion, fun and expertise to their classes, workshops and retreats. Enjoy a weekend that will set the stage for positive change both physically and mentally. You will nourish your body with farm to table cuisine from one of our bay area chefs, you will learn movement that strengthens, tones and heals the body. We will journal and reflect with each other on changes that we wish to make in our lives while accepting the lives we have already created. We can't wait to share this weekend with you!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Yoga, meditation, journaling, farm tour and meal time will provide a loose structure for the weekend, leaving plenty of time to connect and enjoy The Farm. For those wishing to explore this part of the delta, consider brining your bicycle to ride around the island. Visit Bogle Winery on the neighboring island. Check out Locke, the last standing Chinese settlement built in the late 19th century. Or simply walk the fields.

My name is Lauren Rose and I am passionate about all things food and wine. I spend my days working as a private chef, sommelier, and cheesemonger in Northern California. I specialize in seasonal, Mediterranean faire with my own millennial twist. Having worked in the wine industry for the last five years as an Italian wine importer, sommelier, and educator, I have learned that wine is subjective. I believe every meal should be celebrated and wine should be approachable. I create dishes and wine pairings my way, which isn't always by the book. About Lila Heller
Lila Heller believes that when we feel good in our bodies we are inspired to do good in the world. Her goal is to help people move better, breathe better and feel better to live a life they love. Her Pilates classes teach her students how to move well. She teaches her students how to use their bodies in a fun and inspiring way using mobility drills and functional movement patterns. About Shannon Knorr
Guest Teacher Shannon Knorr is a certified Pilates and Iyengar Yoga teacher of 17 years, specializing in rehabilitation, sports medicine and scoliosis. She is the owner of Embody Pilates Studio in Oakland. Her life's work is teaching people to move, finding a balance between inner strength and centered stillness.
